Nick Larson

Nick Larson is the host and creator of the Birdshot Podcast. He and his family, which includes a pair of English setters, reside in Minnesota where he grew up and fell in love with the outdoors. Naturally, his favorite pursuit is upland bird hunting dating back 25+ years from his humble beginnings as a “partridge” hunter. Today, he chases adventure across the uplands wherever his bird dogs and the people he connects with inspire him to go.

Brandon Moss returns to the podcast to discuss prairie bird hunting and his new position with Boyt Harness Co.

As the lower 48 upland bird season draws ever closer, a Montana resident and lifelong bird hunter joins the show to preview the season and discuss a number of factors influencing the upland bird hunting conversation at the moment, drought included. Brandon Moss is a former guest of the podcast and currently working with Boyt Harness, Mud River and Gokey USA provides an update on current conditions in the state of Montana, what he’s seeing on the ground and what listeners should be considering when thinking about western prairie bird hunting this season.
